I was watching True Blood with my bestie last night. We watched Season 5/Episode 3 and in the episode Jason goes through his own personal evolution and realizes something critical: intimacy has been his way of filling a gap in his relationships. This got me thinking.
Players screw a lot of women. They need the constant physical connection to feel happiness. To find a blissful state. They sometimes can keep this with one woman – especially as they grow up – but the issue still remains. They feel so unfulfilled with the “emotional” relationship that they fill up this void with a “physical” relationship.
The sexual contact represents a connection with this person that they don’t get otherwise. The walking away and staying in control ensures that the emotional self is always well protected. If they are rejected by this other person the pain would be crushing, so they continue with this pattern, forever avoiding any deep connections.
Interesting, right?
Love ya!
